Alpines state of the art Halo11 iLX-F2611E offers a customisable user interface accompanied by the 11” WVGA touch screen that is an experience in itself. The 1-DIN and 2-DIN compatibility of the hovering display allows installation into a wide range of vehicles. 

Users are able to control functions of their smartphone through the display or active Siri and voice recognition avoiding driver distraction. Apple Carplay and Android Auto enables you to use apps from your phone such as Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze and Spotify on the touch screen of the unit by either a voice command or the easy to use touch screen interface. Apple CarPlay has the ability to bring apps to life through the digital display and the convenience of Android Auto offers an extensive number of apps in the dash of your vehicle. 

Increase your entertainment options with USB for video playback, high resolution FLAC music and bluetooth for audio streaming. 

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto also allows drivers to effortlessly navigate directions through the voice command, promoting driver safety while getting you from A to B with an accurate arrival time and turn by turn instructions. And you can plan ahead using the call location function. 

Android Auto has a convenient tab to display notifications for text messages and phone calls. Text messages are automatically shown on the display for you to browse through your message history. You then have the option to preview the text or have it played via text-to-speech. 

The WAZE app offers a unique driving experience with alternate route options available to save time, including real time updates reported by other WAZE users for anticipated traffic, camera alerts, road hazards and police stops.  

The iLX-F2611E is equipped with the ability to fully customise the user interface so you can set up your screens just the way you want. You can arrange widgets in a way that best suits your needs and create up to 3 customize home screens by selecting from 22 widget options including USB images, clock, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth Functions and “Now Playing” – which can all easily be dragged and dropped onto the home screen. 

You can also add your own personalised colour theme and wallpaper from a JPEG image, using one of your own photos or choosing from a number of Alpines pre-formatted colour patterns. 

The adjustable display feature on this unit provides flexibility while installing and can be angled from +45 degrees to -20 degrees to suit a wide range of vehicles. The display height can also be adjusted +/- 3cm which can be altered to a standing or hanging display. The unit can then be secured by a locking function to ensure stability.
